Wakefield Wednesdays Lenten Season!

Sign up here

Before beginning his public ministry, Jesus went into the wilderness to focus on God and God’s desire for him. During the season of Lent, we are invited to follow Jesus’ lead–to step back and focus on how we are showing up for God, ourselves, our families, our neighbors, and the world around us.

You are invited to join us this Lenten season as we take our own journey through the wilderness. Together we will reflect on who we are, who God is calling us to be, and how we can better show up and be present for those around us.

  • We are offering three opportunities for self-reflection and growth on Wednesday Feb 21, March 6, & March 20.
  • Nursery Care & Age Appropriate Activities will be available for children.
  • Youth (6th-12th grade) may either participate in the sessions or volunteer to help with the children.

Wednesday March 6th-  How we View the Wilderness

Menu: Smoked Pork, Sides from City BBQ, & Dessert

There are nine distinct ways that people see and process the world around them. Susan Newton Graebe, an Enneagram teacher and coach, will teach us how to use an ancient tool called the Enneagram to learn where we fall within those nine types of personalities.  Understanding this and becoming more self-aware helps us live more in tune with our essential self so that we may be more compassionate toward ourselves, our partners, family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors.
